Discovered PBS in an article in the Christian Science Monitor while wondering how to acquire more books to read while being my Dad's full time care giver. Quit my job 5 years ago and moved in with him. Reading, especially when he was on Dialysis, has  been a pleasant way to pass the time. He passed on this year(2008), so my reading schedule has changed.

Love mysteries, thriller/adventure/historical novels, ethic cookbooks and I often search for books that relatives are eager to find as well.  Oh, Nani means mother's mother in Punjabi. Was married to a Sikh for nearly 12 years. His ailing mother and my ailing father forced a long-term separation that ended the marriage, mostly amicably.
